Careers Photography Tour Guide
We are searching for an experienced photographer and friendly tour guide to join Newfoundland Photo Tours. The tour guide’s responsibilities include planning travel itineraries, showcasing the province’s best photo opportunities, providing tips, and teaching photography skills, as well as ensuring true Newfoundland hospitably is always present.
To ensure success as a tour guide, you should be an excellent storyteller with a knack for customer service. The photography guide will accompany clients to the best locations in the province and can perform minor alterations to each itinerary to suit the unique interests of the group and other photographic considerations.
Tour Guide Responsibilities:
- Planning itineraries in accordance with the length of each tour and other considerations.
- Greeting and informing customers about the itinerary for each tour.
- Showcasing the best photography places during the tour.
- Working with clients to develop their photography skills and providing necessary tips to capture the highest quality pictures.
- Developing professional relationships with clients while providing great Newfoundland hospitality.
Tour Guide Requirements:
- Experienced photographer who can teach photography skills to clients.
- Considerable experience exploring and photographing Newfoundland.
- Prior experience as a tour guide is advantageous.
- Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.
- Significant work experience in customer service.
- A valid driver’s license is an asset.
- Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
- Flexible schedule.
